For 52 years the John M. Barry Boys & Girls Club has provided a safe, enjoyable experience for Newton’s Youth. Featuring full day field trips every Tuesday and Thursday and a new swimming destination every day, our camp is always on the move and there is always something new to explore.

Unlike some camps that stay in the same indoor location all day, every day, if the sun is shining, we are outside. We spend Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday mornings at Cabot Field enjoying field games, arts and crafts, sports instruction, and social recreation. Field trips range from state parks and beaches to big ticket affairs like Canobie Lake Park and Water Country.

Our Summer Day Camp is for kids ages 6-12 with a special opportunity for 13 year olds to join Leadership Camp. Camp runs it two week sessions for a total of 8 weeks.

Limited Financial Assistance is provided to families who need help paying for camp. Those interested are encouraged to apply early as applications received after April 1st are likely to receive only partial support.
