Parents have a right to review background check, health care, discipline policies, and grievance procedures upon request.

This camp must comply with regulations of the MDPH and be licensed by Newton Health and Human Services

What to bring to Camp?

Lunch - Campers should bring a small cooler or insulated bag to keep their food cool.

Sunscreen - All parents must send their child to camp with sunscreen and bug spray.

Bathing suit & Towel - We swim Monday, Thursday, and Friday at the Gath Pool. Campers will also swim on fieldtrips days above.

Sneakers - Our campers participate in a sports activity every day. It is safer for your child to wear sneakers during camp.

What NOT to bring to Camp:

Trading Cards or Toys - These items can be distracting to other campers & trading often leads to unnecessary arguments.

Cell phones, Tablets, Handheld Games - These are high theft items, and we cannot guarantee their security. It is illegal for us to lock a school bus and it is not practical for a camper to carry them all day.

Large coolers & bags - We can't accommodate these large items on our bus.

Working with our community partners from CAN-DO we want to

make you aware of two opportunities that could be helpful to your family.

The first has to do with child tax credits that you can still claim

that may not have received automatically last year if you didn't previously file your taxes.
