Looking for part-time hours afterschool? The Boys & Girls Club of Newton is offering up to $23 per hour for 10 to 15 hours per week of front desk duty. Duties include, greeting children and parents, answering phones, directing calls, and connecting families to services. This is light work that doesn't follow you home at the end of the day. Potential for additional hours if wanted during the winter months. Hours are flexible though generally 3 to 6 PM weekdays. Additional late-morning Saturday hours our available December through March. Will train an interested person who wants to learn. Pay is based on experience and enthusiasm.

The Boys & Girls Club of Newton is seeking a front desk receptionist for afterschool hours until 6 PM to answer phones, greet parents, and check in the children. The position is flexible 15 to 20 hours per week and comes with a 50% discount on all childcare services. This position is offered at $20 per hour.

The Development Associate works with the Director of Development, the Executive Director, and the Board of Directors to help implement a comprehensive fundraising and outreach program for the Boys & Girls Club of Newton. The program includes an annual fund supported by individuals and corporations, grants, and special event fundraising through 2 annual events: a Gala and a Golf Tournament. The DA will assist with donor acknowledgement, donor prospecting, cultivating, asking, and stewarding. The DA will help represent the Club in public forums and support targeted, consistent relationship development efforts.

NOW SEEKING: Youth Engagement Coordinator (Full Time)
The Boys & Girls Club of Newton seeks a dynamic, energetic, youth development professional for the full-time position of Youth Engagement Coordinator. Join a dedicated, hard-working team that is committed to creating great futures for young people.
The Youth Engagement Coordinator (YEC) facilitates and coordinates a safe, supportive environment for Club children and teens through the coordination and implementation of specific individual member development plans tailored for an individual’s growth. The YEC will shepherd and track members through all programs in which they participate. The YEC will nurture, support, and inspire all children and teens’ development beyond that child’s individual participation in a specific program. By performing new member intakes and ongoing case and data management, the YEC, in harmony with staff and regular communication with parents and/or guardians, will execute and support the growth of each club member.
This is a unique position in that it involves work within all departments of the Club and candidates have the freedom and the flexibility to design and implement programs and experiences for kids of all ages in a wide variety of disciplines.

The Boys & Girls Club of Newton seeks a dynamic, energetic, youth development professional for the part time Girls Services Coordinator. The Girls Services Coordinator, in accord with the Program Director, directs, and supervises programs and activities specifically designed for middle and high schoolers around issues facing girls and young women today. They are provided a safe and nurturing environment led by an experienced, compassionate, and caring woman. Hours are flexible though generally 3 to 6 PM weekdays, 3 day per week minimum, and 2 nights per week until 7:00 PM
